BLACK+DECKER 12-Volt Fire Storm NiCd Battery Pack 1.4 Ah

With this battery, my 3-in-1Firestorm drill, sander and reciprocating saw is like new again.

The battery is great, however, if your charger isn’t working that’s not good. They no longer make the charger for this battery.

Works well. Only drawback is it and the drill doesn’t have a low battery indicator light.

Perfect replacement for my existing battery. Came fully charged, just plugged in and I was good to go. I will say one down side (not related to the battery itself, but the charger, they don’t sell the charger anymore which ended to be my issue). Otherwise, if you need a replacement battery this works.

It’s working just as I expected it to work. I can’t complain.

These was a hard item to find. I went into the store and B&D are not popular as they were when I bought my drill. Glad to be able to get the battery online. Works great.

I purchased the battery pack for my older drill and found that it would not charge. I returned to the store and everyone from the clerk to the return cashier was very helpful in letting me exchange the battery pack and use the money toward a new drill and battery pack. I was very happy with the service and attention I received. Thank you!!!!

I’m sure its a good battery, but it doesn’t snap into the tool the way it should. Only one of the clips catches. I haven’t used it yet, but won’t be surprised if it pops out during use. It looks identical to the one it is replacing, but…

It was jist was my old drill needed.. I’m back in business.

Product does a good job for what it is inteneded to be used for. DIY or occcassional user.IF charge is kept, will last quite a while.

I have had my Firestorm Drill for almost 20 years and the batteries just don’t last that long. I have one battery that still charges, but two or three or more (I forget) have died over time. I needed another battery so I ordered this one from Home Depot. It was an original Black and Decker Battery (I thought it might be a generic brand) in the plastic container. I plugged it in and it has worked several times without charging it yet. Love the battery and the drill. Just wish replacement batteries weren’t so pricey. That’s why I checked “good” on the value.
