The Mariner has a solid hardwood base stained in brown cherry which holds a satin-ed gold metal clock. It has stylized Arabic numerals and a quiet sweep, no ticking, second hand. The clock can removed to hang on wall if desired and the base can be laser engraved or affixed with large metal presentation plate. It has a protective glass lens and uses 1 AA battery which is not included.
