   I’ve had this saw for 6 yrs, i use it mostly to cut through 4″ extra heavy cast iron pipes. if you know what its like to cut through cast iron & this saw is still going, then you know its a good saw. its out lived the life of the Milwaukee super sawzall i had. this saw may not come with anything special, crazy fancy buttons or fancy handles but its a workhorse & at the end of the day its made me my money & will make me more tomorrow. this is a just buy it item.

   The Dewalt Reciprocating Saw and the 2X Long Life Wood and Metal blades were able to cut through 2×4 studs, cut galvanized nails, and duct work. I have never had any issues with adding or removing the blades or the saw itself.

    Exactly what I expected in the tool. The box is unsatisfactory. The blade must be removed and the shoe pushed all the way in to put in in the box. Not quite as much blade storage room as I would like.I wanted to buy the Ridgid equalivant, but it was not available on line.

    After using this saw for about 1 year, I have never had a problem getting through anything I have tried to cut. From 3/4″ steel rod to 4×8 treated wood.Also love how you can install the blade at a 90 degree angle for versatility.Just be sure to use the correct blade.
