- Brake engages when trigger is released, stopping speeds of 1.5-seconds with standard grinding wheel (4-1/2 in. x 1/4 in. bonded abrasive wheel, non-hub)
- Kickback brake engages when a pinch, stall or bind-up event is sensed and the electronic brake engages with MAX
- E-clutch activates in less than a tenth of a second when a pinch/stall is detected, shutting down the motor
- 9,000 RPM speed allows the use of up to 6 in. wheels

I recently bought two of these DeWalt 9 Ah Lithium Ion battery packs as back up batteries for my DeWalt mower as well as the other DeWalt battery-powered tools I have (chain saw and circular saw). It is great having the extra capacity so that I do not have to worry about whether I will run out of power. The batteries come with a protective cover (see picture), and there is a battery status button on the side so you always know the level of charge. I highly recommend this 9 Ah battery.
