   This bit did a great job. I cut lap joints 3/4″ deep, 1-1/2″ wide in 2×8 Western Red Cedar with no issues or degradation. Softwood or not, I set the depth, made multiple passes for width and cut > 500 lineal feet of wood without any hiccups. Like any tool clean it when you’re done and it’ll take care of you the next time you reach for it!
