   Rower is great, the app is barely passable. Since the rower is so heavily reliant on the app that unfortunately makes it a mediocre rower at best.

   Quiet and smooth. Have had it just a couple of months but seems very durable and well made. Echelon needs to provide more longer duration, 30-45 min, non-instructional videos and of higher resolution as I cast to my TV.. Also, needs smoother/softer hand grips and have an gel/foam seat pad option/accessory. After 30-45 min hands and butt can get a little sore. A small folded hand towel helps with the seat.

   PROS – Good value, nice virtual and live workouts on my Tablet. CONS – heavy rowers beware as it is light weight and tips… could be a pro as it forces you to focus on balance/core. Live non strength and power oriented workouts are almost non existent… not helpful for a beginner. Shipping/delivery was an experience I wish to forget. In retrospect, would not buy a Mag rower again

    It is exactly one month since I have received my Echelon Rower. I LOVE it! It arrived in just over one week, extremely well packaged. It is very sturdy and well made – it is very heavy, yet the way it was packaged and with clear instructions in proper English and well labeled parts I was able to quickly assemble it by myself in about half hour. It folds easily, reducing the overall foot print and while folded, is relatively easy to maneuver thanks to smooth wheels on one end. As for the exercise itself, it is WHISPER quiet while in operation, the ergonomics flawless, and the motion smooth and secure. I really appreciate and enjoy the feature that allows to change the resistance from the handle bars – something I have not encountered in other rowers I considered. it’s a great feature that doesn’t force the user to perform awkward bends forward to fiddle with buttons on the front console. The rower is a wonderful piece of equipment that in one month has become a new healthy habit and an exercise I can actually look forward to. As far as the app subscription: there is a ton of classes to choose from, live, on demand and scenic. The instructors are great and I highly recommend watching the proper form and intro class. In the beginning I had a few minor issues with the app, however these were solved promptly by helpful, individual help via phone and email by the support personnel. I am supplementing the rower classes with the strength and toning classes. I do believe that the app has some room for improvement: I would like to see better music quality and I would like to see better class description, especially if the class will require getting off the rower to do dumbells or stretches – but I believe that at this moment the company is experiencing some growing pains while we are in a grip of a pandemic‚as such I am confident that these minor wrinkles will be ironed out. Meanwhile I am really enjoying the rower and very grateful for the instructors who continue to be there fir us.

    This smart Rower is the best for the following reasons. 1) It folds up and doesn’t take a lot of floor space when not in use 2) It makes hardly any sound! I can row while the rest of my family watches TV and they don’t have to turn it up or I can row while everyone sleeps without waking them. 3) You can customize each ride with the adjustment of the resistance. I would recommend this rower to anyone and see myself using it for many years to come.

    I absolutely LOVE my Echelon rower! This is the first piece of workout equipment that I’ve actually used for longer than a week. The rower is not another clothes hanger in my house. There are frequently new classes available which ensures a variety of workouts – I never get stuck in a rut. The instructors are encouraging and I feel both motivated and strong. Flow with the row!

    As a former competitive rower, I appreciate most how quiet this is and the convenience of changing resistance from the handlebar (bs. Having to stop and slide forward to adjust). Unfortunately, I have not been able to set up the iPad it came with or reach anyone to help activate,no good instructions or anything user friendly on the app and no phone number…unacceptable! The first time I set it up I had the same issue and had to wait in a virtual queue in the chat to have someone activate for me and it took hours! Beyond that, it is extremely unfortunate the lack of quality classes and the fact that they are on the machine vs. on the water. The on-water footage does not sync with a row as it is going the wrong direction so it completely goes against It’s purpose. I alsodon’t at all mind refurbished tech so long as it works, but when a free iPad is advertised, I should know it is refurbished.
