I just cut a ten foot slab ranging from 2-4” thick. It worked very well.
Nice cutting saw, used it on 8” x 6” granite dry fit wall blocks. Went to work and buries right in.
Good machine for the price
Quite impressed with this tool! Not as fast as a gas powered but no fumes! I’m happy with it.
Works better than expected.
Surprisingly awesome for the price
I bought this to cut through a reinforced concrete block wall. The 4 inch cut depth was enough to get through the whole wall. The included blade cut easily through the block, concrete within and the rebar. The saw is heavy, but not that bad for its size and power. I had my partner mist the blade as I cut so I just got a slurry out, not a dust storm. The power, the price, and the fact that it comes with its own segmented diamond tipped blade all make this a great saw for jobs that are just too big for a circular saw with a diamond blade. To paraphrase Crocodile Dundee, that isn’t a saw, THIS is a saw.If you need to go through 4 inches of concrete, etc. this is the tool to buy.
This chop saw did an amazing job on cutting the concrete on my patio I was repairing. For an electric chop saw it was “great” and did a good job for the cost.
This is a heavy duty Concrete saw. It cut through concrete bricks like butter. I highly recommend getting a 12 gauge 50 ft extension cord to provide 15 amp 120 volt service for it. service
We are installing a bathroom in our basement. So needed a cement saw. This worked great. Learning to really like Home Depot online shopping. Teaching me patience and planning.
Needed it for a small concrete sidewalk cutting job and it worked great. I was impressed that it came with a blade. I plan to use it for some more small projects.
Good price and works very good
I really like this Saw cuts good and is powerful, ready to work every time just push the button.
Great saw. Use it over gas ones.
For what it is intended for, the saw does a fairly decent job of cutting up to 4 inch thick concrete. You are not going to zip through it, but with some patience and common sense, it will get there. The machine does heat up so you have to let it rest after about 20 minutes of cutting. For the price, its a good piece of equipment.
I used it today on 3″ concrete slab. Worked great! Lots of dust. Wear a respirator, eye protection, ear protection.
Did everything I wanted and more.
This is a great product for a DIY homeowner. It did a great job cutting thru my exterior brick to put in a slider door. Pros are the price and its lighter than a gas powered model. Cons are this will even trip a 20A circuit occasionally and it creates a ton of dust without being able to control by water.
Cuts 3 1/2 inch concrete block. Had to change from a 20 Amp circuit to a 30 Amp, would trip breaker on startup.
Work for what I needed
