   I use these long-term to go easy on a damaged hip joint that won’t tolerate conventional mattresses. As mfr says, they aren’t meant for this: repeated use eventually pops loose the inner baffling and you get a balloon. Durability varies widely, no surprise; 8 months for the last one, very occasionally only 3 weeks. Plus my cats occasionally puncture them despite all my efforts, quilts, etc. So I go through 3-4 per year, but $17/each and a simple platform bed beats the enormous cost and monstrous size of a Sleep Number bed.

   Because of Covid we cancelled our vacation to the beach and decided to go tent camping in the woods. I had purchased a couple of mats to sleep on thinking it would be all the cushion we needed to sleep. Needless to say they were worthless and a waste of money.    The 10 Inch Queen Durabeam Classic Airbed that I received is made of a good, durable material that can be pulled out and filled with air in little time.    My kids ask a lot to have a “sleepover” in our living room. I usually tell them no because I don’t want to sleep in the living room with kids on my couch. Since getting the DuraBeam air bed they have been begging even more. Having the air mattress gave me the ability to say yes and I’m glad I did. This air mattress is easy to blow up, my kids were able to help. It doesn’t come with and air pump so you have to make sure you have one or buy one at the same time. It’s big enough that it fit 2 kids and I comfortably to watch a movie then my kids slept comfortable. It fits right in my living room but can easily be moved to any room for guest. I plan on using it when my sons friend sleeps over. I never felt I had a need for a blow up mattress but now that I have one I find it very convenient and will use again again. take down and storage is just as easy.    I had to scan and enlarge the tiny-print instructions, especially for the separate air pump that’s required but it was easy to set-up and use. No issues at all with air leaking. I’ve used it for a week and it has the feel of a good, firm mattress. Outside of the tiny print on the instructions, it could use some handles attached to it to make it easier to store while still inflated. The price for this queen sized mattress plus the air pump was cheaper than a similar mattress that included an air pump, so it was a better buy.

    We have used this inflatable 10 inch Dura-Beam classic downy air bed by Intex a handful of times so far and no complaints. The first time we used it was for a weekend camping trip for my wife and I. Easy to inflate, felt comfortable enough to be able to sleep through the night without it needing a re-up on the air for next nights use. Deflating and putting it up had been a breeze. One of our sons had come to visit from out of state and he wanted to sleep in the living room despite having 2 guest rooms so we just let him use this air bed and he had no complaints either for a 6’3”, 190 lb young man. We’ve had other air beds in the past that always deflated somewhat during the night and also was a big hassle to get setup and put away. I like the ease of setup this air bed provided.     We had a family reunion of sorts and ran out of places for everyone to sleep, and so this air bed can in handy! It doesn’t come with its own adapter to blow it up, but we had another one that did so we used it and it worked just fine! We were able to set it up quickly and plop 3 small kids on it for the night. The next morning they were playing on it, and despite their parents telling them to stop, they were still jumping on it! It didn’t pop or actually lose any air, so it’s nice and durable! Putting it away for the day was quick and easy as well. Folded back up nicely enough to put back in its box for storage.
