   I previously purchased a bird food with mostly nyjer seed and I noticed the cardinals would not stay at the feeder long. I also noticed only one type of bird was routinely visiting the feeder, but I see many birds around the yard. After a few days, I noticed lots of nyjer seed on the ground under the feeder, but the birds were eating the other ingredients. I changed to this bird food and birds are coming from everywhere! They love it! I guess I have finicky birds that do not like nyjer seed.

    This product is satisfying in that there is more food for the birds with less waste. Most of the wild birds that come feed at our back yard are small birds and having huge sunflower seeds to shell didn’t seem appropriate. With Kaytee Wild Bird Food Waste Free Blend it makes it easier for the birds to eat and there’s more of it. Ever since we’ve been using this food it’s as though these birds told their friends. We now get a lot more small birds, with the occasional blue jays and mourning doves. The feeder is situated next to a Japanese Maple tree along with a bird fountain. The food goes quickly, where we refill a large feeder (where 4 birds can easily and simultaneously feed) almost twice a week. Before, it would take more than a week to refill.
