   Features I love! Heavy enough that I don’t have to worry about it “hopping” off the counter when using. The flex edge beater is the best tool ever because it is continuously scrapping the bowl completely as well as thoroughly mixing the dough. Motor is quiet and smooth while running. Looks so pretty on the counter!

   As excited as I was to receive the 5 quart mixer, it did not work in any outlet when I plugged it in. I was so disappointed because I love and trust all my Kitchen Aid mixers. (I have owned only two with life spans of almost 50 years!.) I bake with a group of ladies and we mail homemade treats to deployed service men and my old Kitchen Aid mixer has made laboring sounds when I mix up batches of biscotti and other cookies.     I had always heard so much about the Kitchenaid mixer that when I got one for Christmas I was ecstatic. I made bread for the first time ever using the hook and it worked great. The machine forever seemed…loose. I mean it rattled more than of thought it should. Maybe I was expecting to much, but when I watch all the how-to videos the machines they use seems a lot quieter.
