   I’ve been adding to my mixer attachments and have made some wonderful recipes using the vegetable sheet cutter. We’ve enjoyed healthy versions of non noodle lasagna, using either butternut squash or zuccihi in place of the carb filled pasta. I’ve also cut sheets of potatoes for a delicious baked potato recipe and apples for a lovely dessert using the attachment.

   I bought the sheet cutter a few months ago with the idea of cooking healthier dinners. I have to confess it too me a few tries to figure out how to operate the attachment and I didn’t locate very clear instructions. Once I had it working it made awesome sheets of apple. Next I tried zucchini and it came out great. I’m looking forward to making lasagna with veggie sheets. I would love to have more recipes for this attachment.

    Great for sheeting apples, potatoes, zucchini and cucumber. Quick and easy once you get the hang of it. We made zucchini lasagna right after set up and it was wonderful. Once thing we noticed is it sheets better if the vegetables are cold instead of room temperature.

    I’ve had a Kitchen Aid mixer on my counter for 17 years and the vegetable sheet cutter attachment took it to the next level!!! I used a YouTube video to set it up for the first time but now it’s quite simple. I can quickly and easily make sheets of cucumber for vegetable “spring rolls”, zucchini for mock noodles to be used in lasagna or stuffed “rigatoni”, or sweet/regular potatoes for the most glorious chips! It is very safe, as your fingers do not get anywhere near the blade when you are cutting the veggies. The only downfall is that it does leave a portion of uncut vegetable on the spinner. For me though, I’ll take that one small downside because the product is so efficient, simple to clean and safe to use! Bring on the veggies!!! I’m now ready to make them all into sheets!
