This sander is an amazing value and time saver. I bought this sander to sand the furniture I build as a hobby. Instead of using my quarter sheet or random orbit sander I now use this. It’s a half sheet so it sands a huge area and in a sense floats out small imperfections in the work. It’s made by makita which makes decent products. Holding it is not fatiguing; vibrations are not jarring at all. Dust collection is incredible with a vacuum. I made my own puncture plate out of a piece of plywood and dowels to save ordering that.Buy it. If you look at Bosch it’s almost 400. And festool is up there too. This one is 160 and well made.

This is an awesome machine. I used a 5″ Festool orbital and a Bosch 5″ orbital to sand large pieces till I bought this. I hooked it up to my shop vac instead of using the included dust collector. I made my own sandpaper cutter with screws to poke into the sand paper.
