Very slow speed like blade change thou. Will stick with electric version for heavy cutting. Ggood for small cuts.

Great router. Slightly loose/sloppy depth knob, but it cinches down tight. Some may find it a little too loose for finer depth adjustments. Very nice brake on the drive. Strongly suggest adding the dust/vacuum attachment which is not included.

Has the features of a full-size router including a light and comes with a fence.

I have used d wall, but makita is a lot better

I like everything about this router except the placement of the on and off switch…I wish it was more ergonomic to operate with one hand.

It has so much power and last so long, of course it is new. But my son has Makita and they have worked good for him for a long time, that’s why I switched to Makita.

This is my favorite cordless router in its class. This has nice power and paired with Makita’s 5 amp/hr batteries, it lasts a long time. This router is compact, and nicely featured. Do not buy this thinking you are getting the same power as a full-size corded model. Its a great little router, but be realistic in your expectations. It works well for me with aluminum lowers.

Got this to replace my corded trimmer that burned up. I was shocked at the quality of the build. Very solid but not heavy. Even with the battery on top it is still well balanced. Bit change is easy. Depth adjustment is smooth and stays. Easily the best small router I have ever used. Only weird thing is the on off button placement is not where my fingers would naturally go, but getting used to it.
