   I have been looking for a really good orbital sander. Overall, this is a great sander. It is very well balanced and the vibration is not bad at all. Even after 30 minutes, my hand is not numb like other sanders. The only con, well not really a con I guess since just about every sander is the same is that it drains the battery pretty quickly. I have 1.5 amp batteries and it last between 20-30 mins. I would probably recommend 3 or 5 amp battery if you are sanding a lot of wood.Overall, I am very satisfied with this sander and would definitely recommend it.

   Great little sander but it will run down a battery FAST. I have seen a lot of reviews where people are talking about the dust cover popping off. I read another review where a guy explained that you have to use both hands and squeeze it down until it snaps into place. He is correct. It may appear that you have it on but in reality it is not fully seated. I made darn sure that mine was fully seated and I had zero problems with it. So I would definitely recommend this product to anyone. It made very quick work of the drywall that I had to do. The only thing I would say is that you are definitely going to need a good battery. I will be buying a 5 amp hour for mine in the future. I would have given it 5 stars if it didn’t drain the battery life so quickly.

    Bought this sander because I needed to take the finish on a set of double doors down to the grain, Using 60 grid sanding decks this was made very easy. I used 2 4 hour battery packs and 2 hour pack to get the job done. Very reliable and I highly recommend this tool. I changing all my power tools to Milwaukee!

    An excellent sander that comes with a a full complement of accessories for dust collection either onboard or multiple ways to adapt to your favorite vacuum. Buy generic hook & loop sanding disks in bulk elsewhere to save tons, like a fifth or better of the price. I bought an assortment of 100 for $10 or so and they performed well! For the quantity you get, the name brand sanding disks are only marginally better, nothing near justifying the prices charged, but this sander is a justifiably premium product for the price.     The sander itself works well, cordless life on a 3.0ah battery is respectable. I used this to sand my kitchen cabinet frames. Unfortunately, the dust collection system is horrid. Hooked up to a Makita dust collector, the sander still throws a decent amount of dust out the ports around the front of the sander from time to time. The worst part is that the proprietary connector (square) for the dust collectors is extremely weak and only pushes in without a clasp of any sort. So what happens is that the hose connection eventually falls out of the sander, very annoying. If you’re using a dust collector avoid this sander. If you’re using the included dust box, it’s probably fine.
