This cast iron extension increases functionality of the Powermatic 3520C lathe. When mounted level with the lathe bed, it increases bed length by 20 in.. It can be mounted in lower position for outboard turning and the provided extension post raises the tool rest to the centerline.

heavy, not easy to align due to weight, used C clamps to align and that seemed to work the best. The extension works great and allows tailback to be moved out of the way for bowl turning or gives that extra length for spindles.
