I purchased this to have a quality orbital sander that hopefully wouldn’t vibrate like my cheap one does. This is a real smooth operating sander and I really like the way the dust bag twists off. It has plenty of power and doesn’ fatigue my hand like the cheap one does if I’m doing a lot of sanding. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star rating was because of the soft start feature. I don’t put it on the wood until it is going full speed so that soft start feature is worthless to me. Other than that I really like it. I did see where Ridgid has a six inch sander that had more power but I have never seen six inch sanding discs where as five inch discs are available everywhere.
