   This is difficult to use, even with my small hands. It is hard to get a grip and doesn’t gather a lot of hair. It’s a mess to try and remove also. My pet loves the feel of it, I just don’t like the mess it leaves behind.

   I have two dogs, a lab and a beagle, and this brush works really well with my beagle. She sheds a lot and her coat isn’t as thick as my labs, but we brush her quite frequently. She seems to like this brush better than others I have used in the past which may be because of the rubber aspect to it, it may feel better on her body than the hard bristle brushes. It does a nice job of grabbing the hair as it brushes, but that makes it a little hard to clean completely. Overall, it’s a good brush for dogs who don’t have a super thick coat.

   I bought this grooming brush for my smooth-coated Jack Russell mix puppy and I am so impressed. The rubbery texture seems to gently grip onto the loose hairs as I stroke it from head to tail over his back, leaving a light clump of dead hairs by his tail. My little guy is a real shedder. It is nice to be able to groom him so that less of his hairs end up all over the sofa. I will say he was very interested in mouthing on the brush, until I gave him a treat to occupy him instead. I kind of wish this could double as a chew toy. The price is reasonable for the quality. I paid more for a useless bristle brush that doesn’t work half as well.

   This is the third brush I purchased for my terrier mix. Other brushes didn’t work because he has fine hair. This brush does a great job of grabbing onto the hair without pulling. My pup seems to enjoy getting brushed now. The only complaint is it’s difficult to clean. I’ve started using the hose on my vacuum to remove the hair.

   When I first received this grooming tool I tried it as a brush. My dog has a kind of coarse coat of fur that we keep short. Using this as a brush wasnt as effective as I would have hoped. It didnt pick up any fur or really seem to “brush” him at all. Longer haired dog owners my have more luck though. So next up I tried it during bath time. I put shampoo on my dog and used the brush to help work it in and lather it up, and it worked quite nicely! My only wish was that the “bristle” parts were just a hair more flexible. Its a bit rigid and just seems like it would hurt. But my dog did not seem to mind.

    Target has missed a stellar opportunity to market this also as a great pet hair remover! Try it on a carpet or upholstery and you will be amazed. It takes a little effort, but the hair comes out of the fibers. YAY!

    I have a Great Dane (short hair) but the sheer size of her means so much hair. I have bought shedding blades, furminator, boar bristle brushes and nothing has come close to the effectiveness of this and it’s $6!!! It doesn’t pick up the hair in the bristles but it pulls it out and piles it on her and it’s easy to grab.

    I find this Rubber Brush Pet Grooming Tool to be perfect for short haired dogs. I don’t see it working on long haired dogs because I find that it would not take out knots out. It’s perfect for just grabbing loose hairs from your pet’s fur. I don’t find it grabbing as much as other brands I’ve tried and I kind of find it rather small to hold. I feel it’s as big as a bar of soap but it might work great if you have small hands. My dog loved it though. It felt like he was getting some petting and just rolled over so I could do his belly. It was nice and relaxing for him.

    I bought this brush after reading that it did well as a shed brush because I’d noticed how the Furminator was scratching up my dogs skin. He had bright red scratches for days after using the Furminator. It surprised me how much loose hair this got out of my beagle’s coat. It is more economical than a Kong Zoom Groom, and it seemed to get out as much hair as the video reviews I’d watched on the Kong brush. This brush is easy to clean. Just tap the bristles against the palm of your hand, or any other flat surface and the hair falls to the tips of the bristles where it can be peeled off the brush.

    This pet grooming tool is about 4.5 inches long and 2.5 inches wide. It doesn’t come with any instructions, but is fairly intuitive to use. It fits nicely in your hand and is easy to hold. I have a medium sized dog that’s a husky mix, so he has a thick shinny coat. He seemed to enjoy it when I used the tool on his back. He usually tries to run away when I use his normal grooming tool (which looks like a metal brush), but he stayed put for this one. It removed some of his hair, but not as much as the metal tool. The hair that it did remove was difficult to get off the tool. It’s rubbery to the touch and the hair sticks to the rubber and in-between the rubber prongs. You can remove most of the hair by scrapping and pinching with your fingers, but it’s not easy. You could probably wash it, but I don’t think that’s practical. I think I’ll end up using it has a scratching tool for his comfort, rather than a grooming tool.

    My dogs have a short/medium length coats. I have tried regular metal bristled coat combs and they never seemed to work right. I got this one and love it. Since their coats aren’t too long, pretty much any comb I use won’t be 100% effective but this one works really well. It is soft, smooth and grabs their hair pretty good. It is flexible so it easily molds to your dogs curves. I would recommend!

    I have 6 small dogs, a long haired Chihuahua and a Dachshund, a Terrier, a Chiweenie, and a short coated Chihuahua and a Dachshund. Every time I bathe them they get a massage, not only to work the shampoo in but to also to stimulate their skin and coat. I don’t always use a bath brush, but I usually work it into their bath when I see too much shedding. I already have two other bath brushes that I have been using, one that I love and one I just use on occasion. I waited to wash my long-haired Dachshund until I got this delivered, which I am super happy that I did. Not only did this brush glide through his coat, but the dead hair and knots that get on his ears and legs just rolled right off of him with the water. As soon as I ran it across his back I could tell how much I was going to love it. It didn’t pull his hair or the knots when it took them out, they just flew down the drain. A lot of dead hair washed right out of him and he loved it. Since he usually gets a little grouchy when I give him a bath, I try to make it as appealing as possible, thus the massage and bath brushes. I already bathed my other dogs, except for my Terrier before I found this, but I can’t wait to give her a good brushing with this in the tub since she has really thick fur. I may just buy another one to have on hand as I usually do when I find a wonderful product! Thanks for inventing this one!

    Our Bulldog sheds….a lot. We got this in the hopes of reducing some of the hair that she leaves around the house. She really seems to enjoy when we use this on her. She lays still and watches me as I brush her sides. It is great at removing all of the loose hairs that are just hanging out, waiting to coat my furniture and carpet. We have been using this several times a week and I definitely notice a difference in the amount that she is shedding. Great brush!
