The Yonico 14174q Panel Pilot Router Bit allows you to first pierce through a veneer or laminate and then cut out the rest of the inner portion of the project such as cutting out the sink hole of a counter top. The bit’s tip is steel and the blade is carbide. Saves a lot of time wasted changing out bits. Just bore a hole and trim the rest. The boring tip on our panel pilot trim router bit really comes in handy when you need remove the center of an onion-skinned part or trim laminate flush to a cutout. Just plunge the bit into the work and use the piloted edge to guide the bit around the part.
