Nice sturdy lightweight circular saw to use. I had bought another brand light weight saw recently after my 40 year old saw gave up. I was very disappointed with its performance. The Dewalt saw has the sturdiness and power that the other saw lacked.

This thing cuts really nicely on 2×4, 2×6 and sisters plywood. It’s my first time owning a circular saw but it makes good on its promises – light and power. Too bad it didn’t come with a hard case option like the dewalt reciprocating I just keep in the original box.

Surpasses the quality of my Craftmans circular saw which vibrated so much and was only a few years old with minimal use. Appreciate the locking mechanism when changing the blade.

Easy to use right out of the box. I can now cut a straight line unlike the Skil brand I bought that was made of a lot of plastic. The dewalt saw is made of sturdy aluminum

Excellent product! light weight, versatile, a all purpose saw included. great value for the price. I personally prefer the cord saw rather than cordless that runs on rechargeable batteries. Unlike drill that you often need to take it to different place, circular saw for home use typically does it work on a home work bench that is accessible to power plugs. Only thing I am struggling is how to cut things in a straight line. The pencil mark is covered quickly under the shoe plate. One way is to add another pencil mark to the edge of the shoe plate once you are happy with you saw position. Another way is to put a guide to the edge of the shoe plate. So you would need to own a few clamps to not only hold down the work piece, but also the guide in place while running the cut.

The quality is excellent. However, billing it as a lightweight saw is a bit off. It is nearly as heavy as my Milwaukee saw that I had to replace, after 20 years of service. It performs very well and is easy to operate. Blade changes are easy with a socket driver versus the on-board wrench. The blade that came with the saw is excellent quality, as well.

I used mine a few times now and it works nicely. used it for metal work and with a good blade it has cut through 1/4 in steel

Outstanding clean cuts! I like the corded over battery for more power.

Cuts are good and straight. I used to cut birch wood butcher block 1.5 thick it did slow the blade down just a little but cut fine.

Been using it everyday. It has been put to the test and turned out to handle heavy construction

What I have come to expect from DeWalt quality.

Happy with the products performance. It was worth the price but I would be willing to pay a bit more a USA assembled alternative! Note I am rating durability as “average” based on my past experience with Chinese made electric tools.

Very good, very powerful and value for money

I was needing something more reliable to cut plywood instead of battery operated. This has exceed expectations and have allowed me to focus on the project rather than if my tools will work or not.
