Plenty of power, easy to handle
I like the new design of this saw. Seems to have plenty of power. I don’t care for the blade storage slot, blades tend to get hung up in the material. But I will adapt and over come.
Owned this for 5yrs. Used other models but this gets in between studs, cut at any angle and power. Used it in remodel , outside for fence, tree stumps. this is the most versatile saw.Far greater stability when in your hands because of the grip. love this saw.
My only problem was that after giving it a vigorous first time use, I got a blister on my right thumb, even wearing leather gloves. With a long pruning blade, it did a super job of cutting roots (with the blade often in the dirt), & removing some old tough oak tree stumps, about a foot in diameter. A real workhorse. It saved hours from what I had started with a hand saw & shovel. Even though I bent the blade a few times, this saw never hesitated a single second. I am really pleased with it & will be using it to cut up & remove a cracked bathtub, in the near future, the reason I initially bought it for.
I really like this reciprocating saw. I like the 4 positions you can put the blade in. It is very handy that way. The only thing I wish they’d change is to make the shoe adjustable. That would make this thing the ultimate saw. Nonetheless, awesome!
I got this as a gift for Christmas last year. I work in construction and it’s perfect when you get in those tight spaces. Plenty of power. Very handy tool.
Small and compact, easy to use, especially installing and removing the blades. It does vibrate quite a bit. As for the power, it’s ok for small tasks around the house.
I love the 12 amp compact. Enough power to get the job done and the light weight and size make it a very versatile part of my tool arsenal. As a contractor it is one of the tools I use everyday.
I’ve only had it a short time and have only used it for smaller jobs in tighter places but so far it’s been great. Blade changes are easy and I like how you can insert the blade in many different orientations.
have not had chance to use , but am sure is dewalt quality
Blade change is very easy. And multi positions for the blade , make work so much safer.
Great tool. Sturdy and well made. Love the size and weight. Easy to maneuver in small spaces. More than enough power. Works perfectly. No complaints.
Bought it 3 weeks ago and it hold its own. I have been using to cut tree roots and the power delivered is tremendous. Too bad some one hasn’t made a sawzall blade that performs like this electric saw.
He just keeps repeating “Its’ Great!” We are in the middle of remodeling our kitchen and this tool is helping with the details of tearing apart!
Great for getting into tight spaces. Nice quality tool.
I bought this saw and kept it less than 24hours. The size and weight is terrific! The down side is it vibrates tooo much. Though it was bigger, I had to go back with the original,The Milwaukee Sawzall, less vibration and good balance and feel.
I have had this saw for about 2 years now, up until about 4 months ago it had been a back up. The saw has plenty of power for being lightweight and compact. I use it to remove door frames wood/aluminum/vinyl all day. The saw does vibrate and is not as easy to control as a standard Milwaukee. Also lately I have had trouble getting the blade lock mechanism to latch without manually pressing it shut with the old blade. If you need a saw for hd use in tight spaces this is your saw. If your a professional looking for something lighter…… your arms will thank you for sticking with the Milwaukee.
Bought the DeWalt DWE357 to replace a 20 year old Craftsman 12a Reciprocating Saw that finally wore out. The DWE357 is much more comfortable to use.
