Wanted something solid I was torn between makita Milwaukee and dewalt I love all three. I chose dewalt because of the longevity of cuts it could make per charge and since I’m a lefty it was perfect for me to see my lines and if needed I could use my right hand as well in certain situations. Overall very pleased with the dewalt circular saw

This is a great tool especially with the 9ah battery. I am a framer and I am almost completely set up with Dewalt cordless tools. No Imore untangling cords 2 and 3 times a day. I just can’t say enough about how much I appreciate the portability of these tools. Batteries are very expensive, but once you get all set up…..Wow what a difference. I have just gotten the Rotary SDS and the 1/2″ impact. I’m sure I will keep adding. Maybe the Dewalt Framing Gun.

I’ve been impressed at how powerful this battery powered driven saw is… hard to tell the difference from my corded circular saws.

As a union carpenter in the St Louis area I get to use all brands of cordless saws. Makita/hilti/rigid/porter cable and more, this saw is hands down the best one on the market right now! Price is steep but I would rather pay a little more for a great product. Don’t go cheap! Buy this one!

I loved this. first of all it comes with a 9ah flex volt battery for only $100 more than the tool alone and the battery alone is $179. I like that it has a brake, I like the power versus other cordless models such as the 20v version. It has a hook on to hang it on the saw horse so I’m not always having to put it down or risk dropping it. The plate, guard and other features are about what and what with the corded version. The only thing I’m not happy about if that I was upgrading the 20v cordless circ-saw which had the blade on the other side of the motor. This one is the same as the corded version which means if I am making a cut in a scenario where the blade has to be on the other side I would need to get the work drive which is bulkier or use the 20v which has less power and cut depth. I’ll be looking out to see if Dewalt comes out with a flip side version of this.
