   Not the cheapest tool out there, but does its job. It can get away from you so a firm hand and a guide is needed. I use it on drywall to cut out electrical and A/C cut outs. Does take some practice. It seems to handle the dust without any problems, but will send the dust flying into your eyes while cutting.

   Home Depot shipped the item fast and it arrived well packed. I am not a daily user of the cut off tool, but it has done a good job so far. I have only used the tool on wood. The tool-less chuck is a good idea, but I don’t use it. It seems easier for me to use a wrench.

    I am very happy with this tool, I have used it as intended , but mostly as a Gutsy Dremmel tool.I wish DeWalt would come up with Dremmel like accesories but heavy duty like the tool it self, not hobby oriented like Dremmel.It is a tool worth having!

    Worked great right out of the box. Using the Cutout tool as a router in a small CNC machine and it is performing flawlessly. This is the tool that was recommended as a CNC upgrade and I’d recommend it too. Plenty of power and takes 1/4″ bits. Not that I really need it, but variable speed would be a great plus. But for the price, it can’t be beat. The tool-less bit change is nice, but they also added the ability to use a wrench for more certain tightening. Definitely works for me!!!
