Built thick and strong. Fits perfect on my Porter Cable Circular Saw with Magnesium shoe. Doesn’t wiggle or move when ripping wood. Another great DeWalt product.

I used this guide on the DeWalt 7 1/4″ corded circular saw with electric brake. I have use this guide for ripping strips and other scantlings for our boat building project — along with homemade aluminum and wooden fences for the project. Eureka Zone offers a better ripping guide, but it is $115 with shipping. The homemade fences work well, but using this DeWalt guide is more convenient for some cuts. The distance marks on the DeWalt guide do not take the cutout of the blade into account and seems to be 1/16″ low as well, because different brands of blades have different kerfs. You have to add that to the distance, which confuses some people. For example, my Diablo blade kerf is is 1/16″ thick — the cut was spot on at 3″ when I adjusted the guide to 3 1/8″.

Works as it should. However, this should have been provided in the saw kit by Dewalt. Just another way to add cost to the product and that is why I am giving it only 3 stars..

Solid and perfect for my dw575 circular saw… Ripping 8ft long at small to limit of fence is made easy with this greatv fence. Easy to work with a very precise Even did 8 ft latise with ease, easy and fun to work with

This circular saw rip fence worked great. It is easy to use. I was able to use it to rip 1.5 inch strips from several boards. As with any accessory, potential buyers should check to see if it is compatible with your circular saw before purchasing.

It is a nice solid piece of equipment. Surprised it was not included with the saw when I purchased it(the saw). Nice width and depth of the guide. My old craftsmen saw had a 1/4 inch depth and two inch width.

Standard product. Does what it’s intended to do. It is disappointing that I had to order it on line given that no new saws come with them in the box. To me it’s inexcusable that these are not stocked at the store!

The item did not fit my saw.

Works on both of my saws, corded & cordless. Just wish I had a place on the saw to store it!
