Very sharp and accurate out of the package. Would give five stars depending on retention of sharpness and ability to be re-sharpened.

Cuts through wood very well, but if you accidentally hit any metal, it will immediately dull the bits and renders them useless.

Diablo products never seem to disappoint! Do handle with care obviously. Diablo out performs anything else out there.

I have only used the 1” Dia so far and I’m really pleased with the results, I’ve and clean hole. I would recommend this product

The Diablo Forstner Bit Set has performed exceptionally well for me. I use them for creating mortis and tenon joints, creating candle holders in 4×4’s and numerous other woodworking related tasks. Initially, I almost chose Ryobi’s set because the price is more in line with my budget. After using the bits, I quickly reached the conclusion that they are a game changer. Caution, the bits are very, very sharp! With that said, I have less issues with drill press binding.

Bits cut very smooth at about 1500 rpm. Would recommend theseto any DIYer.

The bits are definitely high quality. I will be using them any chance I get.

Was looking at getting the Bosch kit, but didn’t have time to wait for it to come in the mail so I bought these instead. Excellent all around and true to size, only wish that it came with something to store the bits in, but that will make a nice project.

Trust me these are very good quality bits. They make very clean cut. I have also tried out the porter cable bits from lowes when they were on sale, i returned it immedately after the first two cuts. I wish diablo sells sets that include more bit sizes.

Nice, small set of Forstner bits. Primarily intended for drilling flat bottomed holes in wood. These cut cleanly and nicely. These are the sizes I most frequently replace. They are sharpenable, but you have to be very patient and I am not.
