   Its not every day that you are in need of a concrete or masonry drill bit, but when you do need one I can defiantly recommend this Milwaukee set of 7 bits that cover most of the normal use around your home. Just yesterday we started putting up our Christmas decorations and with some extra wreaths this year I had to put some concrete screws in our very hard brick. These bits were the easiest and best that I have ever used. the flat shank design and their pointed end designs made it much faster and neater for me to place my hanger screws.

   Very nice set of small hammer drill bits, 5/32″ up to 3/8″. I have always preferred Milwaukee bits because they seem to last longer and cut better than some of the others I have tried. Included with the bits is a very handy plastic carrying case. The case also states ‘Made in Germany’, which may account for the better performance as compared to lesser brands.

    The Milwaukee 6 piece Hammer-Drill Bit Set contains the most commonly needed sizes of hammer-drill bits. Whether you need to drill a hole in concrete, concrete block, brick or masonry, these bits will easily do the job when paired with a hammer-drill. The bits have a total length of 6 inches and are carbide tipped for long lasting durability. Sizes range from 1/4 , 5/32, 3/16, 5/16 and 3/8 inch. There are two ¼ inch bits giving you the total of 6 hammer-drill bits altogether. One important thing these bits have is a 3 flat shank design to give the hammer-drill the best grip on holding the bit tightly. If the bit was round, then the hammering action may cause the bit to slip. These bits are designed to be used in both corded or cordless hammer-drills.On the downside, the only thing I didn’t like with these hammer-drill bits was how hard it is to unpackage them. I literally used a tin snips to cut the top off and had to be very careful so as not to damage the bits since there is not much room in the packaging when trying to break it open. I’m sure it was done as a part of theft protection while its displayed in the store, but I would like to see more thought given on how a consumer is going to get these drill bits out without going through a lot of work. I don’t know what the answer is, but it is very inconvenient as it stands right now, hopefully it will be addressed in the near future. Other than that, they work incredibly well, I had no problems drilling through concrete with these bits.
