Makita 11 Amp 4 in. x 24 in. Corded Belt Sander with Abrasive Belt, 80G Belt and Dust Bag

It is a beast as others have called it. I bought this item because I wanted a quality, durable product. My local Home Depot rents this unit. I figured if it can hold up to rental abuse it will last the rest of my lifetime. I used it to even out floor joists where they met. Job was completed effortlessly and quickly.

This thing is an absolute beast. I wear flat sole boots and had a little sawdust on the floor, threw some 60 grit sandpaper on her and started sliding down the floor lol.

Picked this based upon evaluations by others and am not disappointed.

Excellent sander for the price It is a heavy unit, so little pressure is necessary to accomplish results. Unit is quite. I use a dust vacuum attachment and there is no dust at all. No adjustments needed for the sander drum, once set it stays. I like it!!

Perfect sander for the job at hand which was to remove deck stain so I can restrain with a different color and type. The old stain had thick paint and sand and this sander removed it to the grain of the wood.
