I used the grinder once to grind and level cracked concrete floors with a diamond cut blade purchased separately. I can’t say the dust shroud I bought separately worked well as the room well as the room was a cloud I could barely see through, but the grinder was easy to put together, easy to handle and performed quickly and efficiently to grind down as much as a 3/4 inch raised difference in the cracks. The concrete cracks were filled and reground to ensure they were level. It made short of what I thought would be a difficult project and I am a small woman with no previous experience of grinding concrete. I have a couple other concrete grinding projects and will feel much better about tackling those. I love Makita tools and this is no exception.
