   I needed this bit as I had a project with my hole saw that didn’t have a bit. All my regular bits were too short. Now I understand why this is sold separately and a regular bit isn’t used. The length extends out and locks into the hole saw like it was designed to. Thankfully this is a separate piece and I didn’t have to go out and buy the whole kit again.
