Love this M12 drill and impact driver set. Ver powerful.

Wonderful kit overall, drill chuck doesn’t grip bits well, but the impact and driver are awesome!Tried using drill for minor audio installs, and it struggles to hold small bits in sheet metal. Ive had more success using the “drill” mode on the driver for self tapping screws.

These tools work great for the types of projects that I have done. Price & quality is definitely worth the purchase.

Lightweight lots of power

Exactly what I was looking for. Very handy in tight spots where you can’t get much turn on a wrench or ratchet.

I’ve owned a few Milwaukee tools but nothing cordless so, I watched and read many online reviews and more times than not, Milwaukee came out on top. Based on the reviews, I decided I didn’t need to spend the extra $$ for the M18 FUEL kit for my DIY projects. I wanted to touch the tools before buying but my local store didn’t have this kit in stock. When I saw a price drop on Cyber Monday, I made a leap of faith and ordered the M12 FUEL kit sight unseen. When I opened the box, I thought I’d made a mistake. The plastic seemed cheap but because of all the positive reviews I’d seen, I decided I was being overly critical. I charged the batteries and got ready to install some cabinets in the laundry room. I found both of the tools to be light and easy to use even with the larger battery installed. I was very impressed with the impact driver which made quick work of the 3″ screws. I haven’t properly tested the Hammer Drill but it worked well to drill a few pilot holes. The forward/reverse lever functioned properly but didn’t have a solid feel when changing direction but maybe I just need to get used to it. Lastly, the bag is not a soft-sided carrying case with straps to hold the tools in place. I’m not planning to carry this kit around so, that’s not an issue for me but it may be for others.

These are the best all around tool combos. The drill is just as powerful as any 18volt tool. Have both the M18 fuel and M12s. The guys always use the M12 over the M18 just because it so much lighter and has just as much power.

Second kit from Milwaukee and i have other tools purchased separately. Need and dill but couldn’t pas up the deal for the 1/4″ driver. Great for working in the attic where there may not be an outlet.

Great buy!! I recently bought a second kit. Definitely recommend. I use the 4.0 batteries, they last for days.

This set is amazing! 1/2 metal chuck and small powerful impact is awesome. Easy to hook on your belt or pants. So good I had to buy it twice! Only downside is that it doesn’t come with the m18/m12 charger. Would be a good idea to get ppl to move into the m18 line.

First one had issues, second one is working fine.

Amazing power, definitely my preferred set over my “20v” impact and drill for a smaller job. They’re extremely compact with an incredible amount of torque – you can snap a fastener very easily with the impact. I love that you can adjust the fastening speed and torque. LED light is very bright.Both tools are very lightweight, the belt clips fits nicely and is balanced even with a 6.0 battery on it. M12 batteries are so compact compared to my “20v” it’s almost laughable – extreme convenience when you’re lugging tools from job site to job site. Hammer drill is definitely great for wood though, it has caught and bound, stalled up a few times drilling 3/8″ into double / triple studs of old growth cedar. For masonry 5/32″-1/4″ but don’t expect it to drill 3/8″-1/2″ holes very easily. Used a 1/2″ it on some red brick (which is typically very soft) with a 6.0 you could tell it was really trying hard. On hammer mode it is also not very loud which is nice – great tool for 1/4″ tapcons etc. Overall incredible set, super happy with it especially on sale. Would recommend to anyone looking for the most extreme power to size/weight ratio in a drill / impact driver combo. If it’s a light job, I’m bringing these and the Fuel Hackzall.

Great tool for small job that needs big power

These things are awesome. I have old 18v makitas and the batteries were going out, ordered 2 new makita batteries for $200 and the new batteries didn’t fit the old tools!! So I returned the batteries to Home Depot (Home Depot has the best return policy ever). Decided to spend the same $200 on the Milwaukee drill/driver combo with 2 batteries and charger. So glad I did, these are awesome tools. Smaller so the fit in my tool belt easier and on the top of ladders easier. I will be buying more 12v Milwaukee tools.

Awesome, versatile tool. Use it often.

M12 Drill and Impact may be small but they pack a punch. Great tools. Only thing I don’t like is the forward/ reverse switch rubs on you inner thumb/ palm area during use and can be a little annoying, but other than that an awesome buy.

I have several other cordless Milwaukee tools and never had a issue yet……. but overall satisfied with purchase
