This Milwaukee 1″ Impact Driver is a serious tool for serious, heavy duty work. I’ve had a chance to look it over and I’m impressed. I chose this because I thought it might be the right tool for my tractor. It may actually be too much! This Milwaukee impact driver is solidly built and offers a monstrous amount of torque for tightening large nuts/bolts…1500 lb/ft. Even more for busting nuts/bolts loose…1800 lb/ft! That’s just an incredible amount of power for a battery operated tool. When you hold it and pull the trigger you can feel the torque as the tool rotates about 20 degrees in your hand. There is a small light that may or may not help in dark situations. It’s not the brightest to be honest. Far more useful is the side handle that can be rotated a full 270°. Along with the rubber over-molded grip it provides comfort and excellent control of the tool. The kit comes with a charger and 2 batteries. Both of my batteries arrived fully charged. The charger apparently charges other style Milwaukee batteries in addition to the M18 batteries included. I don’t have other Milwaukee tools so I’m not sure which ones. This isn’t a lightweight tool at almost 12 pounds (with battery installed) but it’s far lighter than an equivalent pneumatic tool. Plus there are no cords or air lines to get in the way. The convenient lanyard ring on top of the tool is great for securing the tool or lifting/lowering it to the work area. The fit and finish on this tool is first rate. Everything is solid and it feels very well built. Everything fits nicely into the included canvas carry bag. The driver is “One Key” compatible. I haven’t used, nor do I need, this management app. But I can see where it might be handy for a company that has a lot invested in these tools to track them. I drive a truck and there are a few bolts that attach a tank to the frame that can be problematic with working themselves loose. I’m looking forward to using this driver to easily tighten these bolts when needed. It should prove a lot easier and far more effective than the 1/2″ socket drive I’ve been using.This is not a hobbyist tool. It’s built for very heavy duty applications so it’s not for the average home user. But, if you need a heavy duty 1″ impact driver you can take anywhere without having to worry about a compressor or an electrical outlet, this is the tool you need.

I bought this impact for taking lugs off my dump truck that the half inch (2767) won’t take off. This thing will remove everything I’ve put in front of it. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because it struggled when I was taking off 2-3 lugs off the lift axle but it did the job. I like the tool but for a 1 inch impact it should have not struggled as much as it did. However the one inch air impact that was used to put the tires on has 1700 lbs fastening and the lugs were a little rusty. Overall good tool but needs a little more power
