Yes, 1″ is big but it gives you massive versatility for those huge bolts and nuts and with the use of reducers this one tool will fit all your impact tool needs. And, AND you can control the torque at the push of a button to 4 powers. Due to it’s heavy weight it does not torque back against your wrist as much when busting frozen nuts or when tightening nuts. Tool weighs in at 9lb 12oz without battery and 12lb 3 oz with battery and will give you a workout. Has more than enough power for any job an air wrench can do without the nuisance of a hose or the need of a compressor. It has a super heavy (1/4″ welded steel X 1 1/2″ inside diameter) hanging ring on top for convenience. Now for the ONE KEY features, and they are many. In fact I am only going to mention the basic but have included a photo so you can see more. ONE KEY is a SMART TOOL that allows for WIRELESS SYNCING and ON LINE MOBILE RECORD KEEPING. This allows you unlimited tool customization do you can TRACK AND MANAGE this super powerful tool. YOU CAN EVEN SEE THE TOOLS LAST KNOWN LOCATION. This impact wrench is a beast! Milwaukee says it will do 1,800 ft-lbs of Nut-Busting Torque and 1,500 ft-lbs of fastening torque. I weighed it on my postal scale and it comes in a hair under 13 lbs (12 lbs 15.6 ounces), very close to spec.I tried it out on some bolts tightened to 130 ft-lbs and it removed them in a snap. My 1/2-inch impactor can’t remove those, even though it is rated to more torque. It comes with a ring attached to attach to a tether, and a handle you can rotate as needed, and a soft bag that holds the impact wrench laying flat with its handle attached, and the spare battery.I will use the 8.0 Ah batteries with some of my other M18 Fuel tools, which is always a nice plus.One-key is what they call their bluetooth wireless connection – I thought it was just for tool tracking, but it does more than that – you use that to set up the controls on the tool (it is usable with default settings if you don’t want to use the app). Inside the handle is a selector button that lets you choose one of four modes – those can be programmed and set in the app. You can set the forward RPM, the reverse RPM, the precision, and the trigger ramp up. I had the impression you could set the torque limit in the app, but I didn’t find a way to do that. The app also shows you the last place the tool was found (on a map). pretty cool. It doesn’t have its own wifi or cell connection- the tools only talk to nearby smartphones with the app installed, so it depends a bit on how many Milwaukee fans are in an area as to how reliably you will track a tool.My one complaint (and its a little complaint) is that the forward reverse switch moves with very little force, and I’m worried I will accidentally push it while wearing gloves.
