   Easy to adapt to sds Makita hammer drill I have. One thing I do notice is that if you use the hammer drill option, you will have to tighten the chuck a few times while in use. But it cuts holes in quick with bits attached to it. Awesome adapter.

    I bought this to use it with a Dewalt SDS hammer dril. I purchased a long auger bit to drill a hole on tree. It worked well but the drill has an interchangeable bit and the locking mechanism on the drill got loose a couple of times. I’ll probably end up buying a Milwaukee SDS hammer drill.

    For my application it was necessary for the chuck to be tightened down with a lot of force. The chuck works great when I can get it tight. The issue is with the key design which could be improved to make tightening it more comfortable and easier to use.
