   Charged up and worked perfectly out of the box. Have used it for several tasks using both sanding and grinding bits so far. Battery has stayed fully charged on the initial charge for each of the tasks without recharging even though several weeks passed between the first and last usage. Very pleased with its ergonomic feel and ease of use. Love that it is not tethered to an electrical cord although I realize and accept that I am dependent upon battery charge and power.

   I got the 7700 to go with the AT01-PGK Pet Grooming Nail Guard Attachment. Like all dremel tools, this one works well. I use the 7700 to cleanup my 3D prints. Being cordless is a big help. With the wide range of attachments, I can always find the right one for what I need. The lawn mower and garden tool sharpener was a bonus. I tried it out on my mower blade, and saved me a trip to the store.

   I use the drill to increase the hole size on glass & acrylic beads. I have small hands and the drill is easy to hold and not too heavy. The dual speeds are nice feature since I can use the slower speed for glass and the higher speed for acrylic. Took me awhile to figure out how the collets worked, though! I haven’t used it enough to speak to the battery life. Do like the removable battery – can always have a backup ready when the primary runs out of juice.

    A cordless Dremel rotary tool has been my go to tool for several years. When my previous Dremel finally got too old, I was wondering which to get next. I like the simplicity and size of the 7700-1/15. More compact than my previous model. Two speeds: low or high. Previous model had variable speed, but most of my projects only required high for cutting, or low for some detail work. Battery life is good. Smaller size make it easier to control. Current project is cutting a stainless steel mirror down to a size I can carry in my wallet. Cuts through the stainless and smoothes the edges well.

    This Dremel Rotary kit is a great tool to have in your tool supply. I love that it’s cordless, and allows you to access different angles while working on detailed work without being incumbrenced with a cord. It is lightweight in the hand, yet powerful enough to get the job done. The multi bits that come in this kit are very easily interchangeable.I love using Dremel tools for intricate wood carvings, and wooden jewelry. I love the cutting disc, because it helps getting into small crevices. Sanding in delicate small areas, like in scroll work in furniture is perfect with this tool. I totally recommend getting this as a good basic tool set.

    The first thing I noticed while using the 7700 unit was that it has more power, spins faster and I have to use less force when working on a project or sharpening blades. I like the overall size of the 7700 than my old 7300 as it feels more comfortable in my hand and allows me to get a better grip on those hard to cut/trim items. Being cordless is always a plus when mobility is needed for a job as well. Now I can go out to my greenhouse / garden and trim my tools on the spot without having to bring them into the garage.. Just make sure you wear safety glasses when cutting or trimming.. Safety first. Battery life did not disappoint on this tool. I was able to complete most of my tasks with no sign of the 7700 slowing down or bogging down. Overall, this tool is my go to now and the 7300 will be handed down to a family member.
