This is such a great saw for pretty much any job due to its durability, ease of use, and power. I really liked the fact that it is much quieter than other worm drives that I have used. The first time I used it, the blade flew through the wood like a hot knife through butter. All in all, this saw should last me for a long time.

Cuts without bogging down. Heavy enough to be stable but light enough to use for hours without being burden on the arms.Only thing they missed here is a storage case. Milwaukee does one with everything else so I’m not sure why the skimped here.

I really like this saw. The blade is on the left side which makes watching your line much easier. It turns at a slower RPM than direct drive saws, but it has much better torque and an added bonus is that it is MUCH quieter. It is heavy though, so overhead cuts would be challenging. When cutting sheets of plywood the saw cuts straight with little effort and the large platform keeps the saw stable. There’s also a hook built onto the body for hanging it up for storage or to keep it out of the way. I’m glad I bought it and I think it will be the last saw I’ll need to buy because of the build quality.

This saw is a beast. We are a metal fabrication shop and use the saw to cut thicker plates that can’t be sheared and are too narrow for the track burner. It requires more maintenance than a regulars saw; checking the oil level and changing the oil, etc., but it has tons of power and is well made.

This saw seams great for the few months I’ve been using it. More then enough power, runs smooth, has a nice beefy grip and the sight glass for the oil is nice for checking the level. The only odd thing is the base of the saw is a fiberglass reinforced nylon, but it seems to be fine and definitely durable. (Probably inexpensive to replace if dropped and broke, so maybe a plus?) I would have given this saw 5 stars but the saw blade wasn’t able to be set perpendicular (90 degrees) to the base. I had to file a bit off the stop on the base to get it to set at 90. Seems like a huge overlook for a manufacturer of tools. Other then that minor thing it’s a great saw.

Pro – Cuts great. Easy to see cut.Con – a little heavy. Sawdust blocks cut line on long cuts.

Saw is great! Just make sure to get the oil to go with it.

This is a beast. Not sure where the concept of it being lightweight came from, but it’s not. It’s difficult to do precision cuts. It comes filled with oil. I’d prefer a battery saw for more precision and less fatigue after a while. Be sure to get blades with a diamond hole.

Great saw… a bit heavy…
