This is one of the best right-angle drills I have used. I mainly needed a drill for running new electrical cable and some of the applications I am drilling in are at odd angles or depths. This drill allows me to index the chuck 360 degrees so you can get in the best position to apply force. I had several support beams and posts that couldn’t be accessed from an open area, I was drilling in a joist bay up against the foundation. I would have had to use any other right-angle drill with a hold that may have allowed the drill to possibly not drill straight or could cause me to slip. With this I was able to adjust the head and get a series of bits from short to long that allowed me to drill in a more comfortable and controlled manner. There is also an extension and 33 degree drive head available separately from Milwaukee that will make this tool even more versatile.

This is a beefy, industrial grade tool, and I would recommend it to anybody, contractor or homeowner, although most homeowners probably don’t need something this heavy-duty. However, I am not a contractor but am delighted to have this tool in my arsenal. The right-angle configuration makes it easy to control, which is important because it’s got a LOT of torque. I used it with a very aggressive 7/8″ auger bit to run wiring through studs and plates, and it hardly noticed.

this drill with its rotating head enables you to safely drill in situations that might require the operator to be in an otherwise unsafe position. as an electrical contractor I could not imagine being in business without it. after 15 years as an electrician I decided to throw my hat into the ring. my tools to start out included the following, all Milwaukee: hole hawg; right angle drill; portaband; sawzall.

I learned not too long ago, if you want the best it will cost you more. The cliche applies you only get what you pay for. My experience tells me Milwaukee tools are the best. The new angle drill is rugged and pure quality. I am proud to add it to my workshop. Go Milwaukee and have no regrets.

Starting this router is a joy – has a smooth initial bite when router bit meets the lumber, and has a solid feel when handling/working. I have had this router for a week now, and have completed two projects, still runs like new. Carrying case is a bit odd to handle, but protects the router well when in transit.

this dril is awesome, you can even take the right angle part off and use it as a big heavy duty D – handle drill. you most definatly get what you pay for, and i think this drill will last a long time.

I own three – two are broke, there is a problem in the right angle gear but I like the drill. Warranty did take care of the problem one time.

Very powerful drill! The head is very compact which is why I purchased it. It had no trouble drilling down thru 16” header with only about 12” of clearance.

Bought this drill a couple weeks back, so as far as long term use I can’t give a reasonable assessment. However, over the past couple of weeks three of us building a house have used this thing a lot for all the electric and plumbing. I was concerned with it being only 7 amps when I bought it, but this thing has no problems going through three studs with the right bit. Right out of the box, this drill has been worth every penny.

So far I’ve used the right angle drill to trill roughly (300) 1-3/8″ holes through 2x10s. No issues thus far. Plenty of power, enough weight to keep it from binding and spinning out. I’m happy so far.

The Milwaukee model 1707-6 is an excellent value, and very durable. When I purchased it at The Home Depot store on Eastwood Road, Wilmington, NC on 17 May 2018, I was aware as to how good a tool it was after I had spoken to a technical rep from Milwaukee Tool over the phone on 16 May 2018.
