DEWALT 4000 RPM Variable Speed Reversible Drywall Screw Gun

A great product.

Lightweight and plenty of power. Depth is easy to set and appears to hold its setting. This will get used a lot, but initially put up about 15 sheets of drywall and it worked perfectly. The light weight is most appreciated when reaching overhead to drive screws.Bought this to have a gun specifically for drywall (and such) to replace a similar DeWalt model that is 18 years old, primarily because I can’t find a plastic depth nosecone for the old one. Still use the original one but just for general screw driving, so I’m confident this one will last as well.

Love using this screw gun for drywall but also screwing down decking when doing subfloor replacement. It’s very well built and is going to last for a good many years

A friend is helping us put up sheetrock and his drill quit. I purchased this one to replace his old faithful friend. He really likes it. He especially enjoys the constant on feature which allows him to set the screw and push it in without having to hold the trigger.

Great drill

I’ve hung over 100 sheets of drywall in my remodeling experience, but always used a cordless drill, not a screw gun. With this gun, once the screw depth is properly adjusted, you can go 100 miles per hour, setting the screw depth into the drywall perfectly on each shot. My battery powered drill is really too heavy. This gun is much lighter and especially appreciated on overhead work. Also, if you choose the right drill-tipped drywall screw, you can effortlessly screw into metal studs and metal furring channel, just as fast as into wood studs. Great DeWalt product, like everything they make.

Everything worked as expected. It does get a little heavy after awhile as would anything else. Definitely worth the money.

Comparing with my Makita, this has more power, requires less effort to drive screws, no slip in clutch when driving into hard materials. Cord is heavier and not much longer than makita, still too short in my opinion

Very simple to use. Adjustment is easy. Very comfortable grip and balance. For the price, really impressed with it.

I’ve struggled through drywall jobs with a regular drill driver many times. This time I decided to buy the proper tool for the job. Once depth was set I breezed through the job and didn’t overset any screws or have the bit come off the screw and drill a hole in the drywall. Dewalt = Quality.

Good drill. Installed 220 sheets of drywall and only changed bits once. It did start to feel heavy when I got to about sheet #150. Only bad thing is that this drill won’t let you drive screws flush on angle like in this close seams where the Sheetrock and stud don’t line up just right.

I got this to speed us up on drywall. I will be soon teplacing for a ridgid i believe. Works good with 1.5 in screws but not with galvanized studs. Struggles with galvanized studs used 6 different screwsy other brands donengreat but notnthe dewalt
