The Milwaukee Lithium-Ion Cordless Band Saw is ideal for cutting metal in place, overhead and in tight areas. It cleanly and easily cuts the most common plumbing and mechanical materials, such as 2-1/2 in. conduit, 3 in. copper and threaded rods and more. It has a blade-ejection system and tool-free adjustable material guide that allows flush cuts to be made in ceilings and walls.

As a plumber cutting rod ,copper up to 3” ,pvc 2 1/2 ,cpvc unistrut and angle clips and much more!!!. I had the mikita bandsaw it was lighter than milwaukee but blade breaks and falls off to often and cant cut close to the wall do to its bulky motor on left side … I can cut my wall hung carriers toilets rods 2 1/4 off the wall with ease with this tool one of my favorite tools from milwaukee a must have if your a plumber . And build to last i drop the tool of a 8’ ladder and pick it right up and went back to work (heavy duty is a under statement )!!!!!!!! For this BEAST !!!
