Worked well. Dust bag caught most of the dust. Also can put my shop vac into the bag slot and really catch the debris.

Smooth as a newborn baby’s backside. This orbital sander does the best job ever.

Great product for the price

Works great! Haven’t done any large projects with it yet, but so far performs as expected. Variable speed is nice, and it does actually seem to grab more of the dust than my other sander of a lighter color. Only thing I would change would be to make the cord longer. This one seems to be 6ft, which is good, but I was used to a longer one.

This tool has a soft start, which is easy on what your sanding. The dust collection system works great! Along with the Ridgid lifetime warranty this sander is the best sander I’ve owned.

The sander is surprisingly very quite and doesn’t vibrate your hand to death. This sander is easy to maneuver, it can quickly take materiel off while still giving you maximum control. The only down side to this sander, (if you can call it that) is that it can be a bit difficult to remove the sanding disc, but like I said I would rather them to stay on rather than falling off every ten seconds.

Haven’t used it a whole lot yet but so far it works fine and has a nice well-built feel to it.

I really like the gradual start. Helps when you have more delicate parts to sand. I like the variable speed also.

So far enjoying this orbital.

Just finished hand sanding a 12×12 foot oak floor that is 102 years old with the Ridgid random orbital sander. Went through three grits of sandpaper, meaning three passes on the floor. Sander held up well. I attached it to a shot vac and had very little dust to contend with. I recommend this sander.

Replaced an old sander that I hated with this new one. Love the new one. Does a great job!

This is the best palm sander I’ve used. Used many others. The square padded ones are all terrible. These orbital ones are easy to use & easy to change the sand paper.

customer service was a joke but the sander is excellent

This sander is great and the Airgaurd technology works perfectly. I love that I can sand whole projects and not have to worry about sawdust blowing everywhere. I would definitely recommend this tool to everyone. I had a little issue with registering for the LSA, but after calling customer support, it was fixed immediately and my LSA was active.

replaced another well-known brand. It works so much better and quicker (using same style/brand of sanding disks). this was a worthy replacement. I do need to figure out how to connect to a vac to improve dust collection.

Very nice sander, I bought this as a replacement for a 6 in sander I’d had for a couple years. I found this sander to be quiet, smooth, well balanced, and easy to handle. Very nice for the price.
