I’ll start by saying if I’m looking to buy a tool I usually look at Dewalt or Milwaukee first because I know they’ll take a beating and continue to get the job done. I was kind of scepticle buying this Rigid because i haven’t had good luck in the past, but boy was i wrong! I used this to mix thinset and self leveling compound, and it mixed way better than any hammer drill I’ve used (for mixing). You CANNOT bog this thing down. It runs at a lower RPM but the torque this guy puts out is incredible! No matter how thick your mud is, it keeps on spinning and mixing. It never got hot or started smoking like other drills I’ve used for mixing. I don’t normally write reviews, but this was definitely deserving! If you have a project that requires mixing thick material, this tool is a must. Well done Rigid.
