Very simple way to join two pieces of wood. I haven’t used it enough to speak to the longevity of the tool itself, but it seems that for my use it wel last quite a while.
1st time using biscuit Joiner. Once I got the hang of it worked very well.
Was simple to use and made the job so much easier
Not a must have for every shop, but for gluing up jointed boards for table tops, or joinery in cabinets this makes life easier. Can definitely live without, but it comes in handy when you need it. Feels sturdy and well built. Considering the options for joiners out this I would recommend this to anyone that might just need it once in a while as almost a value grade luxury.
Works very well though some adjustments are tricky. When tightening the height lock that process causes the height setting to move. Keep a very close eye on your setting to insure it doesn’t move while tightening. Other than that the tool does a good job for a really decent price.
Its great! I like it!!!
All I had to do is adjust foot plate for depth ,my joiner came with a dust bag that zips up ,I am very happy with this joiner just made 72 cuts worked flawless
Great buy for the money. Dust collection leaves a bit to be desired. The bag itself is large enough but the machine doesn’t push the chips into the bag with enough force to expand the bag resulting in a clog in the port.
Dust collector keeps clogging up. Ended up not uit and instead connected a shop vac to the tool.
This tool was very easy to use and understand. I highly recommend it for your dys projects!!
Love my new Ryobi from my wife
I’ve only had this for a few days and here are my first impressions.I needed a biscuit joiner for a project and this was the only one the store had in stock. It comes with a nice carrying bag with a zipper, twenty #10 biscuits and a dust bag. It’s very heavy and bulky compared to joiners I’ve used in the past. The adjustable table/fence is a little cumbersome because one knob is used to lock in both the angle and height. The knob on the left adjusts height and the knob on the right locks in the height and angle. It takes a little getting used to. Make sure you practice on scrap pieces of wood that are the same thickness as the project you will be working on. Dust collection is very good but the bag is small and it fills up fast. Overall, it’s a good value for the price. If I had to use it all day, every day I would probably get something lighter but for small projects it gets the job done.
The Ryobi Joiner performs satisfactorily. The motor is relatively quiet and cuts well even in hard woods like maple. The miter fence is not easy to adjust. Overall, it is an average performing tool.
Good value. Easy to use
The first use was putting 3 pieces of wall art together and it worked great!!!
I purchased this biscuit joiner to put together a butcher block top for our kitchen island. Not to add strength but to keep panels aligned and as level as possible. Did a good job. The biscuit size selector needed adjustment. Dust collection is awful unless you have vacuum attachment.
My husband loves it!
Excellent tool that is very easy to set up and operate. The one criticism is that the dust collector clogs easily and requires frequent clearing even though the bag is not full. Nevertheless, I think it is well built and a bargin over other joiners.
Have no complaints, I like the depth of adjustment I like the balance of the tool , good vision ability and a fair price .
