Generally a very nice shelf pin bit, but I wish it were adjustable as to depth of the shelf pin hole. I tried to adjust by loosening the collar set screw and sprong !! it flew apart with various pieces all over the shop floor. After some difficulty holding the pieces together against the spring, I was able to reassemble it. So a warning if you are tempted to adjust it – be more careful than I was.
